ARNO 70s Toaster

A 1970s ARNO toaster recreated in 3D in a contemporary kitchen, styled like a product post. I did the lookdev.

01 / About the project

From brief to final frame.

The brief

A DisplaceMint study: recreate a Brazilian design classic and create a photorealistic image that looked like a commercial post, contrasting vintage with a modern kitchen.

How it was made

Building on Luiz Campolina's modeling, I developed the lookdev: aged plastic, metal, heating elements and toasted bread, with kitchen lighting and Cycles rendering. Animation was by William Oliveira.

The result

Images that treat a vintage appliance with the care of a product launch, from the wide shot to the lever detail.
