01 / About the project

From brief to final frame.

The brief

Riot Forge brought in Histeria! for a music video for "You and Me Makes Us", following Nunu and Willump's friendship through the landscapes of the Freljord.

How it was made

The 3D was done entirely in Blender, from layout to lookdev, grooming, FX, lighting and Cycles rendering, alongside a second 2D style that had to fit the rendered world. I worked on scene assembly, building the 3D scenes with the CGI team.

The result

A heartwarming video where 2D and 3D live together seamlessly, serving the story of friendship between the two characters.
